Salvation Army Kroc Center certifying lifeguards for free
If you are looking for your next job venture, the Salvation Army Kroc Center wants you!
The Kroc Center has partnered with the YMCA to offer free certifications for those looking for a career as a lifeguard.
Lifeguards are indoors all year round, so you do not have to worry about sunburns.
Having more lifeguards would make it possible for the Kroc Center to host swim lessons while providing a fun, safe environment for swimming.
Here’s how you can become the Kroc Center’s next lifeguard. Marketing Coordinator Morgan Shiyou said, “Right now, we have two sessions where we will be certifying our lifeguards for free. That means you get your shallow water certification here at the Kroc Center for free and we will hire you to be a part-time, year-round lifeguard.”
They currently have four spots available from March 23rd through the 26th and ten spots available from April 11th through the 14th. Head to krocmscoast.com/krocmscoast.
