Salvation Army hoping to raise $25K through Red Kettle Campaign

As you’re out and about shopping this holiday season, don’t forget to take a second and donate to the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign.

Due to inflation, the number of people experiencing homelessness continues to increase.

The Salvation Army remains committed to helping individuals and families have a safe place to rest as well as provide food, rent, utility, and Christmas assistance.

Windy Swetman, chairman of the Red Kettle Campaign, has been raising money with his family for ten years and this year, he’s asking for the community’s help in raising $25,000. “You can contact the Salvation Army Kroc Center and talk to a representative there. They can go to our Facebook and use the QR code and make a contribution that way and be able to donate to the Red Kettle.”

All the donations to traditional and online kettles will still go right back into the community to help those in need.
