Salvation Army and Treasure Bay partnering for community donation drive
It’s a simple way to make a big difference for families on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The Salvation Army Gulf Coast is teaming up with Treasure Bay Casino and Hotel for a community clothing drive this week.
Joining us this morning is Salvation Army Major Paul Egan and Treasure Bay President and COO Susan Varnes with more.
The drive takes place from August 5 through the 8. Residents are invited to donate gently used items and volunteer to support local families in need.
A donation drop off site is available daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the south parking lot of Treasure Bay Casino.
Some items requested include gently used, clean clothing, shoes, furniture, home goods, and household items.
