Saints vs. Vikings Preview
It’s the game that’s circled on the Who Dat Nation’s calendars, the Saints taking on the Minnesota Vikings.
Where were you when the Saints were down 17-0 at halftime before making a memorable comeback and then the Minnesota Miracle happened?
The Black and Gold have a chance at redemption going into U.S. Bank Stadium on five game winning streak and first place in the NFC South. They will take on a Vikings team that’s 4-2-1 and first place in the NFC North.
Here’s what Drew Brees had to say last year after the miracle happened. “You know things happen and you can go one or two ways with it. Does it put you in the tank? Does it pull you apart? Does it mold you or strengthen you? That’s the outlook I’m taking. And I think that’s the outlook our entire team is taking.”
You can check out the Saints and the Vikings at 7 on Sunday Night Football on NBC.
A slight change for the Black and Gold as they seek revenge on the Vikings, former New York Giants cornerback Eli Apple steps on the field for the first time as a Saint.
He was traded from New York to New Orleans for a fourth round pick in 2019 and a seventh rounder in 2020. The Buckeye alum was a first round pick for the Giants in the 2016 NFL Draft.
