Saints visit Biloxi this weekend
Good news for Saints fans! The pros are making a touchdown in Biloxi this weekend.
More than two dozen of the greatest New Orleans Saints players, including some Hall of Famers and several current players will be in downtown Biloxi this weekend for the second annual Saints Experience Weekend.
Events kick off Friday at noon with a golf tournament at Grand Bear Golf Club. The Saints will head to the Shuckers game Friday night. Saturday morning kids will get a chance to learn some skills from the pros. Saturday afternoon there will be a silent auction and autograph signing held on Biloxi’s Town Green. Chief of Civic Innovation and Development Cliff Kirkland said, “If you’re a Saints fan, it’s an opportunity to visit with your heroes of the past. The people who were standouts, they’re in the Saints Hall of Fame for a reason because they were great players. It’s an opportunity to meet them personally, shake their hand, get a picture taken, and for the current players it’s an opportunity to let them see how much the Coast supports them.”
All proceeds from the event are going toward helping the Saints build a new home for their Hall of Fame. Their previous building was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Tickets are available at the MGM Park box office and Harrah’s Casino.
