Saints starting to form 2021 identity

The New Orleans Saints are in the midst of an up-and-down season so far coming out of their week six bye with an overall record of 3-2.

Every win has been followed by a loss and every loss by a win, but this is actually somewhat par for the course with or without Drew Brees.

It’s right around this time the last four years that the Saints have really come into their own during that stretch they’ve had at least six wins in a row and up to as many as ten, setting the stage for what could be another classic Saints run now that their 2021 identity is starting to take shape following a week five win and a week six bye. Linebacker Demario Davis said, “We know what our strengths are. We know the areas that we need to improve and actually formulate that identity that you tend to do to become a lot more consistent and dependable in the areas that you are kind of formulated around. And that’s kind of where we are as a team, where that gel is starting to turn into cement.”

The Saints get an extra day to prepare for the Seahawks ahead of their Monday Night Football clash in Seattle at 7:15 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN.
