Saints send four to the Pro Bowl
On a more positive note, the 2022 Pro Bowl rosters have been finalized and the Saints are sending four players from the Big Easy to the City of Lights.
Defensive end Cameron Jordan will be attending the Pro Bowl for the seventh time, becoming the defensive player with the most selections in Saints history.
Running back Alvin Kamara is now the first Saints player to make the Pro Bowl roster in each of his first five seasons.
For the first time, safety J.T. Gray is headed to the Pro Bowl as a result of his standout performance on special teams. The 2018 undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State leads the league in special team tackles with 14.
Lastly, cornerback Marshon Lattimore will be making his fourth Pro Bowl appearance. Lattimore said, “The coaches, the players, just everybody– they feel like you’re one of the best, so it’s always an honor being in the Pro Bowl no matter what. I want to never take that for granted. Just because I got in four out of five times, it doesn’t mean I can get in just because. So, I still have to work. Still have stuff I need to work on I feel like. Hopefully I have a lot more in my future.”
This year, the Pro Bowl will be held in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, February 6th.
