Saints Report: New Orleans Saints fall to Arizona Cardinals in first regular season game

NEW ORLEANS, LA. (WXXV)- The New Orleans Saints’ first regular season game ended in a 20-13 loss.

The Saints hosted the Arizona Cardinals at home in the Superdome.

This game marked the regular season debut of first year Head Coach Kellen Moore and QB Spencer Rattler.

Post Game, Moore was questioned on the lack of time outs taken throughout the game, team chemistry, and plans to bounce back after a loss on their home turf.

Along with a new head coach is a new quarterback with Spencer Rattler stepping in as QB1 after Derek Carr retired in the offseason.

Teammates Alvin Kamara and Cameron Jordan had positive things to say about Rattler’s performance, but underneath the praise, Rattler acknowledged what the team needs to turn their season around.

The New Orleans Saints take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Superdome on September 14 at 12 p.m. on FOX.
