Saints Report: New Orleans Improves Win Streak to Four with 34-26 Win over Tennessee Titans
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WXXV) — The New Orleans Saints upped their current win streak to four games with a 34-26 win over the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday.
The Titans started strong on their home turf, taking a 13-0 lead by the second quarter and heading into the locker room at halftime with a 20-10 advantage.
However, it’s hard to count out the Black and Gold. Rookie quarterback Tyler Shough continued his impressive play with a pair of touchdowns in the second half, and running back Audric Estime sealed the deal with a 32-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter.
The Saints have won five of their last seven games, and Shough has shone in those matchups. He’s now one of the favorites to be named the NFL Rookie of the Year.
Up next, New Orleans will wrap up its season on the road against the Atlanta Falcons. Kickoff is set for noon on Sunday, January 4th.
