Saints Report: Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints

On Sunday, the Saints welcomed division rival Atlanta Falcons to Caesar’s Superdome for the final regular season game of the 2023-24 season.

It may have taken until the final month of the season but the Saints offense came to play in this one, just as they have in the last month.

The black and gold put up a season-high 48 points behind 264 passing yards from quarterback Derek Carr – including 4 touchdown passes.

Following the game Carr spoke on the season that was for the Saints, “The last half of the year I thought we were doing some really good things and improving,” he said. “Yes, there was a chance we could have another home game after this but if we didn’t we wanted to give our fans something to let them know that we didn’t put all of that hard work in for nothing.”

The Saints finish the year 9-8 with all eyes looing towards the off-season and whether or not Dennis Allen will be the head coach next season for the black and gold.
