Saints Head Coach Sean Payton donates COVID plasma

Even on NFL Draft Week, New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton is continuing his role in the fight against the Coronavirus.

Last night, Payton donated COVID convalescent plasma at the Blood Center in New Orleans which contains anti-bodies that can be given to patients with severe cases to help them fight off the virus.

As the first known NFL figure with COVID-19, Payton made a full recovery in late March and says he was fortunate enough to not have any of the respiratory symptoms.

Coach Payton will be ready to roll on Thursday for the start of the 2020 NFL Draft where the Saints have the 24th overall pick in the first round.
