Saints-Falcons preview
There are many things to take into consideration going into the Saints week three matchup against the Falcons.
For starters: will Julio Jones play?
Number two: with both teams .500 on the season who will stand tall to be the second best team in the NFC South under Fitzpatrick and the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Number three: will the Saints get the ball rolling on both sides of the ball early with the Falcons having critical injuries on the defense like safety Keanu Neal and linebacker Deion Jones.
Either way, Drew Brees knows what’s on the line as a rivalry game and a crucial NFC South division match-up. “It’s a divisional opponent. It’s a very, very good divisional opponent. It’s a playoff team. This was a Super Bowl team two years ago, a team that is extremely talented. I think we just know what type of game it is. They are usually one possession games. They are usually extremely hard fought. We gotta be as good as you can possibly be against these guys.”
The last time these two teams squared off against each other it was the Saints who squeezed out a victory on Christmas over the Falcons with a final score of 23-13.
