Saints announce Spencer Rattler as week six starting QB

Saints Quarterback Derek Carr is expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering an oblique injury against the Kansas City Chiefs.

With his injury leaving him sidelined, the Saints have announced seventh round draft pick Spencer Rattler will make his first career start on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Rattler split preseason snaps with Jake Haener, but Head Coach Dennis Allen and company believe that Rattler gives the Saints the best chance at picking up a divisional win in week six.
