Ryan’s Wednesday Night Forecast
It has been a warm and increasingly cloudy Wednesday night so far, and we still have a slight chance of some showers popping up around South Mississippi. The shower chances increase as we head into tomorrow (Thursday), with a 40% chance of scattered showers throughout the day which continues well into Friday. The severe threat is only listed below marginal, so thunderstorm activity is not expected, but an isolated storm is not out of the question. We’ll see some rapid clearing from Saturday morning into the afternoon, leading to a beautiful start to the weekend. The sunny conditions last well into Monday, when a weak low pressure feature moves into the area, raising rain chances slightly, but more than likely only increasing cloud cover for a few hours. The increased sun exposure will lead to temperatures reaching near 80 Sunday through Wednesday, and humidity levels will return to “normal” values for the Gulf Coast, meaning some hot and muggy days are not far away. The official start of Summer is only two months away as of tomorrow (Thursday).
