Ryan’s Thursday Afternoon Forecast
The Thursday afternoon forecast has some good news for the memorial day weekend, but the low rain chances are starting to slip into the beginning of next week. Expect a warm and humid evening tonight, low near 74, and steady Southeasterly winds. These winds carry over into tomorrow, but cloud cover slowly increases, leading to a partly sunny day with a high near 85. We’ll start seeing temperatures rising into the upper 80s and low 90s as we start of next week, meaning it’s likely we’ll see a light shower from Sunday through Wednesday. Not much is expected out of these showers other than just enough rain to make it more humid in the rainy areas. A weak tropical system is expected to develop North of the Bahamas, and looks like it will be moving towards the GA/SC/NC area by the weekend. Someone should remind the Atlantic that the season doesn’t officially start until Wednesday. Memorial day looks to be hot and humid with a 20% chance of showers, but overall it will be a pleasant South MS weekend.
