Ryan’s “Rainy” Monday Forecast
The rain began early today and isn’t expected to stop until Christmas. A frontal boundary will continue to linger just to our Northeast, keeping a large unstable area over much of the Southeast and moderate southerly flow bringing plenty of Gulf moisture. A slight chance of severe weather exists, but is unlikely, for South Mississippi and residents should be on the lookout for small hail, heavy rains, lightning, and gusty, damaging winds during the worst of the storms. Tornadic activity is possible, but is expected to remain in the northern parts of the state. Be cautious while driving and be on the lookout for standing water.
