Ryan’s “Hot & Humid” Tuesday
Forecasting the weather in South MS can feel like playing a broken record since the words “hot and humid” will be in nearly every forecast. It’s no different today, with temps reaching 88 on the waterfront and even warmer in the inland areas. We had a few showers earlier in the day, and we still have a small chance of more tomorrow afternoon, but organized rain won’t move in until the weekend. Expect gradually cooling temperatures, bottoming out near 85 on Saturday, when a frontal passage will dry us out a little, but don’t expect the humidity to move too far away until Fall. Things won’t honestly be that bad on the Gulf Coast for the rest of the week. We’ll have plenty of blue skies with white puffy clouds that could become an afternoon thunderstorm during the hottest parts of the day, otherwise it’ll be good beach/boat weather. Make sure to stay hydrated and protected from the Sun if you decide to enjoy the beautiful weather outside.
