Runners compete in 8th annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon
Runners from across the country and the world descended on the Coast over the weekend for the 8th annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Marathon.
The action kicked off Saturday morning with the Margaritaville Mississippi Gulf Coast 5K Run and Chevron Kids Marathon.
The event wrapped up yesterday morning with the half and full marathons, starting at Henderson Point in Pass Christian, and ending at MGM Park in Biloxi.
Over 3,200 runners participated in this year’s marathon events.
Runners and walkers visited from 47 states, the United Kingdom, Bahamas, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Australia.
