RS-25 engine test conducted at Stennis Space Center

Stennis Space Center conducted their 10th hot fire test for the RS-25 engine.

The test was conducted on the Fred Haise test stand. Operators fired the engine up to 111 percent power level for 10 minutes.

Longer duration hot fires allow operators to test the limits of engine performance and provide a margin of safety for flight operations.
