Former Pro Basketball player and small business owner Ronnie Henderson has announced his intentions to run for mayor of Gulfport.
On his campaign website, Henderson cites economic development, public safety improvements, and city beautification efforts as pillars of his platform.
The deadline to qualify for municipal elections in Mississippi is 5 p.m. on January 31st.
