Rock and Roll Over 2023 benefiting Humane Society of South Mississippi

Grab your animal print and leather pants, it’s time to Rock and Roll Over.

Last night at the event, the Humane Society of South Mississippi had ten pay it forward pets that were available at the Rock and Roll Over event.

It’s HSSM’s largest annual fundraiser of the year and all the proceeds going to help care for both shelter and community pets.

The night was full of good music, tasty food, and the most adorable cats and dogs you’ve ever seen.

Development Director Katie King says one of her favorite parts of the event is seeing everyone come together to suppose a great cause. “It’s so awesome seeing all of our supporters come together to support such an amazing cause for animal welfare. We take in over 5,000 animals each year. Currently we’re housing 400 animals in house, so these donations are so important and lifesaving.”

There were also over 150 different items up for auction, adding to the big fundraising total.
