Roberts Place Café offers new breakfast spot in Pass Christian

Roberts Place Café offers a new breakfast dine in option in Pass Christian.

Dorothy Roberts opened the café next door to her gift shop, Robin’s Nest, in the Pass on Davis Avenue.

The restaurant honors her family’s history and contains memorabilia from Dorothy’s sister, Robin Roberts, who is on Good Morning America, and from her parents’ careers in the military and education.

Her father Lt. Col. Lawrence Roberts was a Tuskegee Airman and her mother Lucimarian was an educator and community leader.

The café is in a renovated home which Dorothy thought would be the perfect location since its homey and could bring people together like her parents did. “We have two rooms. One is denoted for dad and it’s all decorated with his life of service to the United States Air Force. Mom’s room is painted in a beautiful light rose because was an AKA, Alpha Kappa Alpha, and it also denotes all of her accomplishes in her life as well.”

Robert’s Place Café is open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. They offer a wide variety of comfort breakfast food. Dorothy recommends the Dot’s French Toast.
