Robert McKeithen Post Office Bill passes Senate

The U.S. Senate has given its approval to name a Biloxi post office after fallen officer Robert McKeithen.

The Senate passed the bill and it now heads to President Biden’s desk for final approval.

Once the president approves it, the post office at 135 Main Street in Downtown Biloxi will be named the Robert S. McKeithen Post Office Building.

McKeithen was a 24-year veteran of the Biloxi Police Department and was tragically ambushed and killed outside police headquarters in May 2019.
