Rob Martin’s “Might Not See A Cloud” Friday Night Forecast
Great news in the near-term! Our red flag warning and wind advisories have expired. However, humidity will remain very low through Saturday, so outdoor burning still requires caution.
For tonight, it gets even chillier; by daybreak Saturday all will be in the 40° – 45° range, with areas around Pascagoula possibly in the upper 30s. Temps rebound nicely Saturday under sunny skies and somewhat breezy conditions, reaching the low-mid 70s. Not as cool tomorrow night with lows around 50 or so. Bump those numbers up a couple more degrees for Sunday.
A southerly flow develops Monday with a bit more in the way of cloud cover and highs in the upper 70s. Humidity and breezy conditions return Tuesday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Next week looks unsettled and wet as the next cold front moves very slow, keeping cloud cover and humidity up, and also keeping thunderstorm chances in the forecast through the work week. Highs will be around 80 (depending on cloud cover), and overnight lows will come way up next week…in the upper 60s for the most part.
