Roadwork announced for Monday in Ocean Springs

Mississippi Power will begin prep work to transfer poles at the intersection of Hanley Road and Bienville Boulevard starting Monday, February 5.

The work will begin at 7 in the morning and is scheduled to run until 7 in the evening.

Utility crews will run power lines across the roadway in 15-minute closure intervals.

There will be traffic control and law enforcement present during the work.

Then at midnight on Tuesday, February 6, until 5 in the morning, Mississippi Power will complete the transfers at the intersection.

All customers will be notified by Mississippi Power via post card and a call.
