Road work planned for next week in Gulfport
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Harrison County officials say a major intersection just west of Gulfport will be closed all next week.
The intersection of Landon and Canal Road will be closed to all traffic starting Monday, April 28th and running through Friday, May 2nd.
Those times are subject to change depending on the weather.
This closure is part of a state-aid widening project to improve local infrastructure.
Drivers are asked to find alternate routes and allow for extra travel time, especially in the surrounding area.
