Road Work Moves Forward

Biloxi residents are not happy with the amount of dust coming from the mass amount of construction work. Many say the dust and debris are harmful to their homes, cars, and clothes when walking outside. Although some are concerned for their Health, the Mississippi DEQ’s Office of pollution control inspected the construction zone back in October. Officials say there are no permit violations involving dust in the area. But residents are still not happy. The infrastructure project began in the summer of 2014, with an expected finish date of August 2017. It is now pushed back to late June of 2018.
