Road Rage Shooting Injures One in Pearl, Mississippi
Two Picayune men were placed under arrest today in Biloxi for attempted murder after Pearl police say they shot a man in a fit of road rage and then fled the scene. This is according to Major Jim Adamo with the Biloxi Police Department.
Pearl police were on the lookout for 29-year-old Brett Davis and 27-year-old Andrew Walters after a man was found shot in the head in a vehicle on I-20 in Pearl Wednesday.
Davis and Walters were found walking in the area of Nelson Drive after investigators located Davis’ empty truck in the Winn-Dixie parking lot. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
The driver, who was shot on the interstate, was struck above the eye, but he was able to give information to authorities, identifying Davis as the shooter.
Both suspects were transported to the Harrison County Jail where they are being held before extradition back to Pearl, Mississippi.
