Road closure in areas of 34th Street in Gulfport

(Gulfport, MS) – Advanced Contracting Services has issued a ‘Road Closure’ for the citizens and businesses in the surrounding areas of 34th Street between Jody Nelson Drive and A Avenue, for the installation of drainage improvements.

Pass Road, C Avenue, A Avenue, 33rd Street, and Hewes Avenue will serve as the designated detour routes, to ensure minimal disruption to commuters and businesses in the area.

The ‘Road Closure’ is scheduled for Monday, July 15, 2024, at 7:00 AM, and is expected to reopen Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 5:00 PM, weather permitting.

The City of Gulfport is asking all residents to observe and follow all traffic markers placed in the area.
