Road closings for railroad work in Waveland

Some traffic alerts for Waveland residents as work to repair and repave railroad crossings begins this week.

Starting Tuesday, Waveland Avenue will be closed all day at the railroad tracks for that work. Wednesday, Waveland Avenue will reopen and Coleman Avenue will close for work. Thursday, Coleman Avenue will reopen and Nicholson Avenue will close for work.

The city noted that at no time will Waveland and Nicholson be closed at the same time.
