Road back open after anhydrous leak in Pascagoula
Roads in Pascagoula are back open after an anhydrous ammonia leak near Industrial Road and Highway 90 had a portion of Highway 90 completely shut down last night.
Police opened the road around 3:15 this morning. Captain Doug Adams tells News 25 that a rail car was leaking from either damage or a valve malfunction. No injuries or evacuations were reported.
Officials from MDEQ were on scene as they attempted to stop the leak. The exact cause is still under investigation.
