River Road Boat Club hosts Tank Music Fest in Pascagoula
This weekend, a new marina is opening in Pascagoula and this boat club wants you to be a part of the celebration.
River Road Boat Club is hosting Tank Music Fest this coming Saturday in honor of the marina’s grand opening.
The festivities begin at 10 a.m. and will feature live music, over 2,000 pounds of crawfish, a food truck, and more.
The new marina lies on Krebs Lake and is expecting to get a lot of traction.
David Boland, president of River Road Boat Club, is excited for Pascagoula’s growth. “People from all over want to stow their boats here. We’re saving a bunch of slips for transient boaters and going to do some advertising to get the loopers, the guys that come out of Mobile, making the great loop, try to get them to come over. It’s a 30-minute jump for them, not far at all if you’re in the great loop. They can come over, spend a couple days, enjoy the river, enjoy the islands.”
There is a $10 entry fee for Tank Music Fest. The event will last from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
