Ring in the New Year at the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum

Are you looking to ring in the New Year South Mississippi style?

That’s what’s on tap at the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum in Biloxi. The fourth annual New Year’s Eve Oyster Ball Drop will be held on New Year’s Eve. There will be entertainment from Black Water Brass, dancing, an open bar, and Coast cuisine.

Admission to the event is $50 per person and $90 per couple. You can call the museum to purchase them.

Tickets have sold out in the past so you may want to get moving on that if you would like to go to the celebration. Outreach Coordinator Corey Christy said, “We have fireworks at midnight, the oyster ball drop which is a very cool, unique thing, very coastal, very Biloxi. So, there’s just a lot of fun. It’s a very casual, loose fun time.  I think for the price point, I don’t know what else you could do to come out and get the entertainment, the food, and the drink that you get.”

The event inside the museum is for 21 and over, but the lawn outside is open to the public for a fireworks show at midnight and the oyster ball drop.
