Right Field Roost brings the noise for Hattiesburg Regional

Bringing the energy is nothing new for the Southern Miss fan base.

Prior to the Golden Eagles regional win, fans were overjoyed and expressing how thrilled they were to see another day at Pete Taylor Park.

One place you can always count on to bring the hype also has its own Twitter page, the Right Field Roost.

The Roost is a tailgate area for Southern Miss fans located directly behind the right field wall. USM Fan John Smith said, “Hats off to this fan base, they’ve packed it out every day, every night. I’m losing my voice. Everybody up their is losing their voice, everybody out there is losing theirs. Just a testament to the Thunderdome out here and the atmosphere this place can be in these environments.”

The Roost is one of the very few areas of any ball park that you can find a baseball game both on the field and behind the fence.
