Ribbon Cutting for Naval Branch Health Clinic

A new 58,000 square foot Naval Branch Health Clinic opened their doors today in Gulfport.

This new clinic will provide patient-centered health care for active duty service members, retirees, and their families. All care will be consolidated into one location as opposed to five buildings spread out on base.

Some of the services that will be offered in this new facility will be dental, mental health care, primary care, alcohol rehabilitation, physical therapy, primary care, and much more.

Officer in Charge Commander Venancio Maysonet tells News 25 this health care clinic will allow a lot of flexibility and learning to take place. “Now they can come into one building and facilitate the care and if they have a question about another service, the biggest advantage is that we are able walk them to that service and get the answer right there and then. I think it’s going to be more synergistic, more of a whole unit concept of care.”
