Ribbon cutting for Biloxi Premiere Lux Cine and Pizza Pub

It’s time to grab some popcorn, silence your cellphones, and get excited for the Biloxi Premiere Lux Cinema and Pizza Pub.

The ribbon cutting for the brand new movie theater took place right next to Edgewater Mall. The theater has great features such as reclining chairs, full service pizza pub, and free refills of popcorn and soda for all sizes.

With this being the first movie theater on that side of town since Katrina, there’s a bunch of buzz on the Coast about easier travel. Biloxi Premiere Lux General Manager John Sampson said, “The real buzz concern is convenience with a theater being right here in people’s backyards. You don’t have to plan your entire evening around traveling east or west 20 minutes. So, that’s mostly the buzz we have been getting from everyone.”

The grand opening will be on Friday. However, a soft opening with free shows will take place Thursday.
