Reward offered in Biloxi hit and run case
The investigation into a July 1st hit and run in Biloxi continues to grow.
The victim of that crime remains in critical care. With no public assistance after almost two weeks, an anonymous donor is hoping to help authorities get to the bottom of the case.
Today, at the Lopez-Quave Public Safety Center, investigators and representatives from Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers updated the public on the search for the person that was behind the wheel during the incident. Lt. Christopher De Back with the Biloxi Police Department said, “We’re still seeking video or any kind of witnesses to assist in the case. As released on the 11th of July, we believe that the vehicle is going to be around a 2001 Toyota Tundra, black in color.”
Lori Massey with Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers said, “Mississippi Coast Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $5,000 payable in cash to the tipster that leads investigators to the person or persons responsible for the July 1st hit and run. The tip must come through Crime Stoppers for them to receive this award.”
