Restore Act Funding For Center Of Hope Gulfport
After some major setbacks the governor’s office steps in with BP money to help move forward construction of the Salvation Army’s Center of Hope. The Salvation Army of the Mississippi Gulf Coast has secured 1.32 million dollars in restore act funds for a more permanent type of shelter for families in South Mississippi. The building will have short and long term rooms, a job center to help people find work, and other resources for those looking to overcome homelessness.
