Residents dispose of hazardous waste material at Mississippi Power ‘Bring It’ event

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Over the weekend, Mississippi Power gave Gulfport residents an opportunity to remove hazardous waste at their ‘Bring It’ event.

This annual Harrison County Household Hazardous Waste Collection event gives residents a safe and convenient way to dispose of their waste at no charge.

All kinds of hazardous waste were dropped off at Plant Watson like aerosols, batteries, pesticides, e-waste, and much more.

Plant Manager Conrad Amos tells WXXV that putting on this event every year is just another way Mississippi Power can serve the community.
