Residents & Businesses Prep for Mardi Gras Parades
With Mardi Gras season in full swing, many people will be out celebrating this weekend.
From parades to parties and balls, people are looking to celebrate the festivities and that can mean big businesses for local store owners. While the season does benefit many businesses, it is also a big part of the culture for many residents along the Coast.
Leonard Cooper of Mardi Gras Coast Outlet says, "It’s just part of the heritage for the Gulf Coast. In Mississippi, it’s tradition for a lot of families and friends from out of town to get together and celebrate and have a good time."
