Rescued Australian Dingo pup captures social media’s hearts

A rare, purebred Dingo pup is stealing hearts on the internet.

An alpine dingo named “Wandi” was apparently dropped by a bird from the sky and found in a suburban backyard in Australia.

Cellphone footage shows wandi playing with other Dingo pups in his new home at a sanctuary.

After being inspected by a vet, DNA testing confirms Wandi belongs to a breed of Dingo on the verge of extinction.

Most wild dingoes are dingo-dog hybrids.
