Reports: Former Southern Miss Head Coach named Cleveland Browns Head Coach

A former Southern Miss football head coach has just landed an NFL coaching gig.

According to reports, Todd Monken is set to become the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

Monken was at the helm of the Southern Miss football program from 2013 to 2015, leading the Golden Eagles to a 9-5 record and Conference USA West Division Championship in 2015.

Monken left USM after the 2015 season to become the offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He most recently served as the Baltimore Ravens OC before taking the Browns job.
