Repair work continues on Hanshaw Road Bridge in Ocean Springs

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- Work continues this week on repairs to the Hanshaw Road Bridge.

This closure has caused big changes to traffic flow in that area of Ocean Springs over the past few weeks.

The hope is to get temporary repairs to the bridge made, as city and county leaders work on a permanent fix to the bridge.

Signage is up this week asking drivers to avoid the area.

The closure of the bridge has caused headaches for parents of many Ocean Springs schools, including the high school and middle school.
