Remembering Col. Phyllis Luttman

The Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is asking for community support. One of their long-time volunteers and members Retired Air Force Col. Phyllis Luttman recently died and they want to honor her community service with a memorial.

The Biloxi Bay Area Chamber has set up a GoFundMe account for Col. Phyllis Luttman who passed away March 1st.

Col. Luttman had been an active member of the chamber since 2008. It was Col. Luttman who created the partnership between the Biloxi Chamber and the Moon Tree Foundation.

The chamber found it fitting to remember Col. Luttman with a Moon Tree memorial and plaque in her name. Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tina Ross-Seamans said, “From the very beginning she was the first one to volunteer for any event we did. She eventually became a board member, very active with the chamber. Any opportunity she had to bring in a new member she sold it like it was her very own. Just before we went on lock down with COVID, she had brought in the Moon Tree Foundation.”
