Remains found in Lake Pontchartrain as search continues for missing pilots
New developments in the search for the missing pilots in Lake Pontchartrain. A body part believed to be connected to one of the two pilots was found in the lake Friday.
According to WDSU in New Orleans, the body part is being sent off for DNA testing by the Orleans Parish Coroners Office.
Law enforcement from New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, St. Tammany Parish, and the United Navy Cajun have worked for weeks now to recover the remains of Taylor Dickey and Navy Lt. David Jahn.
This week, the families of Dickey and Jahn set memorial services for the two, which will be held next week in South Mississippi.
