Registration opens for Walk 4 Life

Registration is now open for Walk 4 Life, an annual fundraiser benefiting the Women’s Resource Center in Gulfport.
This will be the fourth annual Walk 4 Life happening Saturday, May 13th, the day before Mother’s Day. The goal is to raise enough money to help fund their program throughout the summer. The mission of the Women’s Resource Center is to assist with the needs of all expectant mothers and their children.
Director of the Women’s Resource Center Tiffany Bell said,“That’s just what we’re about at WRC. Our goal is to help women and help them know that where they’re at today doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re going to be in the same situation a year from now. Just having somebody who can sit and listen to them and help them to know that they’re not by themselves, it makes a really big difference and so that’s the heart behind why we do what we do at the center.”
The event starts in the parking lot of Coldwell Banker Alfonso Realty in Gulfport. You can register at WRCGulfport.org. Fees are $25 for adults and $10 for the kids run.
