Registration open for seafood hazards class

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources is offering workshops on the horizon to help seafood dealers, processors, and restaurant employees on the Coast.

The Seafood Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points program will be offered daily between September 30 through October 2 at the Bolton Building in Biloxi.

Attendees will learn more about identifying and evaluating critical points during the production, processing, handling, and distribution of seafood products with a specific focus on making sure food is safe for consumption.
