Registration for Girls Softball League in D’Iberville

It’s almost time to take your bat and balls out of storage. One D’Iberville team is looking for girls to sign up for softball this year.
If your daughter is interested in playing softball for the City of D’Iberville’s ASA/USA League, registration begins this week, Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10-2 at Rudy Moran field.
Coach Rob Sawyer tells News 25 he believes his softball program can teach young girls the rules of the game and the skills it takes to be a winner on the field as well as in life. “I take all girls from age five, some four-year-olds. We’re trying to build all the way up to age 16. I take from any town, same price which is $45 for one, $65 for two. It’s my firm belief that if they do good on the field, they do good in the classroom. If they do good in the classroom, they do good on the field.”
