Registration for the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program Begins Oct. 6th
This year, any 2013 recipient of Angel Tree from Harrison, Stone or Pearl River Counties was required to take life skills classes. Those who did not complete the three class requirement may not be eligible to receive Angel Tree assistance this year.
For the second year, Angel Tree recipients in Hancock County must also complete one life skills class between now and mid-December. The class must be completed before the Angel Tree gifts are picked up before Christmas.
Children are not allowed to attend Angel Tree Assistance Program registration and The Salvation Army requests that those applying bring all items needed to qualify for Angel Tree. These requirements may be found on the website www.SalvationArmyMSCoast.org, by visiting or calling any Salvation Army location, or by calling the Gulfport Area Command at 228-374-8301.
The Salvation Army Angel Tree program aims to give children in need, between the ages of birth to 12 years, a Christmas they may not have otherwise.
Those interested in registering for the Angel Tree program, but have registered for Christmas assistance with another agency, will not be allowed to register at The Salvation Army.

Requirements for all Salvation Army Angel Tree Assistance Applications:
1. Person applying must bring VALID State issued Photo ID
2. Parent or legal Guardian must apply for ONLY their own children. Guardianship/Custody
3. Documentation required if you are not listed on Birth certificate
4. State Issued Certified Birth Certificates for children 12 & under required. (no copies or hospital
certificates)

All required items are required at time of applying for Angel Tree Assistance. If an applicant does not have these items at the time of registration, they will not be able to register until all items are brought in to The Salvation Army.
