Red, White and Blueberry Festival

Ocean Springs is getting locals in the Fourth of July spirit with their 13^th annual Red, White, and Blueberry Festival at the L&N Depot Plaza on Saturday.

The Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce partners up with the Ocean Springs Fresh Market who brings local growers to the festival. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., blueberry bushes, drinks, and plants will be available for everyone to enjoy.

If blueberries don’t bring you to downtown Ocean Springs, how about free ice cream that can be topped with blueberries or strawberries?

This event brings the community together just in time to kick off the summer. Cynthia Dobbs-Sutton with the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce said, “It’s just so community-oriented. It is where the whole entire family can come out. Bring your kids, enjoy blueberries. Who doesn’t like blueberries?”

The Gulf Coast Grill Restaurant will be at the festival Saturday in Ocean Springs doing cooking demonstrations for anyone who is interested.
